Our first of a 10 part financial literacy workshop series for New Americans in partnership with CVOEO’s Financial Futures Program and community ambassadors Thursday afternoon. Each workshop will be given in a different language with this first presentation being made in Mai-Mai (a language spoken in East Africa). Ten participants received info about credit building/personal finance and then took home some great incentives including a gift card, home energy kits and, of course, free laundry.
